Water damage is unpredictable and often strikes your home or business with little to no warning. It can be caused by anything from a backed up sink or toilet to a leaky heater, pipe leak, or an ice dam on your roof. Regardless of the cause, SteamMaster ‘s structural drying is a crucial part of the restoration process that gets your home or business back to normal as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
Previously, repairing water damage involved tearing out carpets and padding and removing wall sections to identify moisture pockets and injury to the structure. Not only did this mean removing and disposing of your belongings, but it was also expensive, time consuming, and did little to thwart harmful mold growth and subsequent damage.
Structural drying creates a safer and healthier environment. Fast drying puts an end to lingering moisture that can result in thegrowth of mold. Mold compromises your air quality and can result in significant health problems.

The DRY-700 desiccant system operation is based on 2 counter current air streams flowing through a what is known as a desiccant wheel. The return air from the conditioned space is drawn through the rotating desiccant wheel. The desiccant then absorbs moisture from the air stream and the dry supply air is returned to the conditioned space. The moisture containing portion of the wheel rotates into the regeneration section. The desiccant releases the adsorbed moisture into the heated regeneration air stream which is then exhausted to the outside. Read more here
