Debris Removal

Clearing debris and other cleaning services are a substantial part of any recovery process. One of the initial assignments after a fire or flood is debris removal. At SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning we utilize our multiple trucks and containers to safely and thoroughly remove and contain all debris. Water damage and Fire damage are setbacks in their own right. However, they both can produce an overwhelming amount of debris that needs to removed and discarded safely. Our certified technicians will carefully document each item before removal. Once removed, any items will be sent out to our local warehouse for either restoration or disposal.

When it comes to only drywall removal (Not Debris), Colorado state law requires companies who are removing drywall (over 32ft2) from a single family home to have it tested for asbestos. This law must be followed even if the home was recently built.

If the same process is to be performed within a commercial structure, the same law requires that if removing drywall (over 160ft2) or other potential asbestos containing material, it must be tested before removal.

Any debris related to this matter will be removed from the structure and contained. The marked containers will then be removed for disposal upon the clearance of the testing performed.
