A pinhole leak inside a tight crawl space can go unnoticed for months. Hot-water lines and summer heat can raise humidity, creating conditions where microbial growth may develop.
Watch for the warning signs:
A musty odor
Unexplained indoor humidity
Wood flooring beginning to cup or buckle
The feeling that something simply isn’t right
SteamMaster can perform a visual inspection and infrared moisture assessment to help locate hidden moisture. If air or surface sampling is warranted, testing should be performed by an independent environmental professional.
Don’t wait for a small leak to become a major problem.

What’s hiding beneath the carpet?
When water or pet urine reaches the carpet cushion, ordinary surface cleaning may leave much of the problem behind. That is when we bring out the Water Claw.
This specialized extractor pulls liquid through the carpet backing and from the cushion underneath, often without needing to pull up the carpet. We also use moisture-detection equipment to help locate hidden wet areas and confirm that the extraction is doing its job.
Because what you can see on top of the carpet is not always the whole story.
